This page explains how cancellation and refunds work for More Than Days. It is written to match how the app actually works today.
Free trial
More Than Days Pro includes a 7-day free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not billed at all. If you do not cancel, billing begins when the trial ends — CA$6.99 per month or CA$59.99 per year, depending on the plan you chose — and renews until you cancel.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from Me → Settings → Your plan, which opens the billing page provided by Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not delete your account or any of your recovery information.
- You keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Your information stays yours either way, and crisis and support tools are always free.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, under Paddle's refund policy. You can request a refund through paddle.net or by writing to us and we will pass it on. We also look at requests case by case and try to be fair — for example if you were charged after intending to cancel.
Free plan
The free plan is not time-limited. Your day counter, daily check-ins, plan, journal, crisis resources, the meeting finder and your own recovery information do not require a subscription.
