More Than Days is operated by Mark Clement Rose, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Canada. When you create an account, purchase, or subscribe, you are contracting with Mark Clement Rose.
These terms govern your use of More Than Days. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide things.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity that happens under your account. Please use an email address you control, and tell us at morethandaysapp@gmail.com if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for anything unlawful or to harm others.
- Attempt to access another person's account or private information.
- Interfere with the app's operation or security.
- Use the app to store or share content that is abusive, exploitative, or illegal.
Your content
The check-ins, reflections, goals, and other information you enter belong to you. You grant More Than Days only the permission needed to store, process, and display that information back to you and to operate the features you use (including sending relevant parts of it to an external AI provider when you use AI-assisted features, as described in the Privacy Policy). You can export or delete your information at any time.
Not professional advice
More Than Days is a self-help and self-tracking tool. Nothing in the app — including AI-assisted features — is medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and nothing replaces a doctor, counsellor, sponsor, or any other professional. Decisions about your health and recovery are yours to make with qualified people.
Emergencies
More Than Days is not an emergency service and cannot respond to crises. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US), text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line), call your local emergency number, or contact the SAMHSA helpline at 1-800-662-4357. Do not rely on the app in an emergency.
Service availability
We work to keep More Than Days available and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is" and we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change over time.
Subscriptions and payment
More Than Days can be used free of charge. More Than Days Pro is an optional subscription — CA$6.99 per month or CA$59.99 per year — and includes a 7-day free trial. Billing begins when the trial ends unless you cancel first, and renews each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Me → Settings → Your plan. Cancelling never deletes your account or your recovery information, and crisis support, the meeting finder and your own records remain free. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Intellectual property
The More Than Days name, design, and software belong to the people who built it. Your personal content remains yours. Please don't copy or resell the app itself.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile screen. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, particularly where other people's safety or privacy is at risk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, More Than Days and its makers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and significant changes will be highlighted inside the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
